Congratulation to Sahib Usarov with a victory in the USA (Albany, New York) on 4th February 2012.

In a championship fight for the Intercontinental WBO title, Sakhib Usarov won by decision in a 10 round bout against
a Cuban boxer, Olympic champion in 2004, Yan Barthelemi.

We wish Sahib continued success in his ascent to the boxing Olympus!


Makha Shermat raised many champions during his coaching work. Among his students are lots of big names.

Makha was coaching Alexandr Ivanov, honored master of sports, champion of the USSR, European and World champion in kickboxing.

Makha trained A. Loktev, master of sports, champion of Russia among juniors, the prize-winner of many international and Russian tournaments in boxing.

  Pasi Rantala, a multiple champion of Scandinavia, the World champion and European champion in kickboxing, was a student of Makha. Pasi was recognized as the best kickboxer of the world in 2000.

Makha brought up such sportsmen as:

  Zaven Agasarian, master of sports, the champion of Moscow among juniors, the prize-winner of many national Russian tournaments in boxing;
  Artem Rimskiy, master of sports, a medalist of the championship of Russia among juniors, the champion of Russia among universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the winner of the international tournaments.
  Dzhahandir Abdulaev, international master of sports, champion of Russia in boxing among professionals in 2006-2007.
  Sahib Usarov, international master of sports, champion of Russia in boxing among professionals, WBO-Europe title holder.
